She's a 1974 International Harvester 715 combine with a 6 cylinder 301 cubic inch gasoline engine. The three row head came from miller sellner implement in sleepy eye MN.

I can't blame you on the diesel. That's good with the hyper miling stuff. When you need tires, get the next size larger and reduce your speed by a fraction as you'll automatically be going faster from the larger tires; or recalibrate the odometer so that your speed will be accurate. If it's computer controlled, that's fairly easy if you have the right apps or have the OBD II reader/scanner, if it allows for that. If not, you'd need someone who has it on their computer or has another third party reader to reset it. With some adjustments to the truck's computer, you could get 33 mpg with those tires or more. Also try to get tires that are a bit more fuel efficient. Every little bit helps. Have you thought of methanol/water injection as some use that for up to a five to eight percent gain in fuel economy? What is the rear end axle ratio? Is it 4-wheel drive?
