Was there a temporary price spike on IL-53 in Romeoville this AM? Yesterday the Speedway, Shell & Mobil were $3.29 while BP was $3.39. This morning you posted all 4 stations as $3.59. I just drove by and the BP is $3.39 while the other 3 are all $3.28. I actually looked at the pumps at Speedway, BP and Mobil.

You stated that we are already shipping out more oil than we are consuming, really? I thought it was gasoline not oil that we exported. Renewable energy is one alternative but not the total solution, we don't have the system to be able to go "green". Our national power system, electricity, wouldn't be able to handle the load and besides, electrical power presently is produce from focil fuels, not that many wind power fields set up or outer space solar station set up. An the much pushed Volt is no where near as economical and can't take you everywhere when there are no stations to 'pull' in...btw, the middle east is not our major importer of oil... western nations are such as Canada, central and south america.
