While I agree that respect is appropriate in all cases, my comments are meant as written with it being inappropriate to separate any single word as "key" or the most important. I sure stirred up a hornets’ nest with this last set of comments, did I not?

I covered my opinion of Iraq owing us anything in my last comment on your whiteboard. I guess that we must respectfully agree to dissagree on that one.

Why does that make me sound bitter? I believe in defending my country and did it for many years, as have many members of our family. Fortunately for our family members, they all came back from Iraq. Infortunately, so far one of our family did not return alive from Afghanistan.

Ridiculous arguments do disgust me. Saying that Iraq owes the USA something is the equivalent of saying that after some neighbor reported that the man next door was abusing his wife and children and we went in with a swat team, tore up the house and killed the husband, that the abused widow and their children somehow owes the swat team for their time and ammo. Please think about it a while before answering.

May Iraq recover quickly and become a democracy. However do not expect them to thank us. Remember, we invaded their country under a Republican administration. What idiot asked, "but are they paying anything back to us?" What other idiots said things like, "They should be giving us free oil to pay for the war. and Pay back USA..." IRAQ OWES US NOTHING! We invaded their country and destroyed a whole lot of it. The USA should pay Iraq war reparations. No country, not even the USA can say, "We did you a favor and invaded your country to get rid of a dictator that we did not like." Where did that level of idiotic logic originate? Was it Faux News?
