Releasing crude from the reserves will just mean more gasoline will be exported.

Even when they started going up again it was nowhere near what it was. So in a way it seems to have worked just not like what most would want...

Energy prices soar, we run back to the reserves Replenish reserves, prices soar again Replenish reserves, price crashes Government is left with the bill Kind of like a casino Or other countries catch on to our habit, and suddenly decide to totally cripple the U.S by stopping supply Suddenly no supply, no reserves, oil producing countries take control of the global market
