Monday morning bummer: Gas prices increase 20th day in a row

WTSP -- St. Petersburg, Florida -- Say it isn't so! AAA's Fuel Gauge Report shows gas prices nationwide inching up another penny overnight, marking the 20th day of consecutive increases at the pump.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas nationwide is now at $3.698.

Unfortunately, there's no relief in sight.

"Concern and fear are driving the market at this time and pushing oil prices to nearly $110 a barrel resulting in record-breaking pump prices for this time of year," said Jessica Brady, AAA spokeswoman, "This is happening at a time when reports show a slow, but steady global economic recover.
