LWB_Sr and his wisdom are right on. We have the Constitution and the attack on the Constitution by the left must be fought off. Therein lies our protection.

honda0105, I'm totally agreed in what you say, that is the sad part. IMHO, the only hope for America is the "get the Government out of" where they don't belong as stated by our Constitution, especially the Tenth Amendment:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
To remove "Big Brother" from making "slaves" of us is a thousand times harder than to keep him off in the first place, and that is where we are at today.
Difficult, YES!, but not impossible. But it will take some doing!

sorry LWB, but history from ancient Greece and Rome to 21st century America has shown that government lacks integrity and honesty. It may start out that way, but very soon those in power look out for their own good first. And if you study history, you can see it. The ancient Greeks already said that democracy is the highest form of social living. It slowly deteriorates, which is leading to a republic form of government (that's what we have in the USA despite claims to the contrary - democracy elects directly, as current Republican presidential nomination situation shows, we don't). After the republic deteriorates, the empire arrives, which deteriorates further into dictatorship and finally ends in anarchy. It's a matter of time before we see this here.
As for reversal of wrong changes, you gotta go back a long time in US history IMO.

LWB_Sr, your not alone in your opinion!
And an opinion from people like yourself, that comes from wisdom and experience is immeasurable in worth!

honda0105, You are sooooo! right that the world has changed! Change is inevitable..... What we need more than anything else right now is a REVERSAL of WRONG CHANGES!, followed by a return to honesty and integrity in government.
Don't get me wrong here.... that is just one man's opinion, for what it may be worth. :-))

LWB: the world has changed. This is no longer the 1950s. Globalization has taken a lot of jobs overseas, although they are slowly being brought back in some areas.

honda0105, LOL... Relax, play golf, enjoy my retirement, like all the rest of us "old timers". Also, do everything we can to bring America back to what it was when we were young..... My first "real" job was in 1955, and if you could walk and WANTED to work, there were 3 pages of job openings posted at the company I started with.... "Which job would you like?" Forty two years later I retired. End of story!

If you are young, strong, and tough, (No sissys will survive), you can start working the next day in the oil fields of North Dakota! All you have to do is find a place to live, though! That's where to "tough" separates the men from the boys. The paycheck is unbelievable!~!~!
Let's hope Obama doesn't get involved!

Way to go N. Dakota. For a state with less than 1 million residents... thats a pretty darn good increace in percapita growth.

Great for North Dakota, but I agree, don't export so much, as it's keep our prices inflated.

Why is this no surprise?? If you produce more jobs go up and supply goes up unemployment goes down right along with gas prices.....you produce more prices going down will always follow!!

Good for North Dakota in making money. However, I sure wish they wouldn't be exporting all that crude oil instead of more global agricultural and construction machinery.

Will the wealth be shared, NO. North Dakota will still have the most poverty stricken location in the U.S. Indian reservations.
