Why do they even bother? There are TWO attributes that make it disgraceful!

I think for some, it's about being trendy, on more than one front..

Why yes, I DO have a LEXUS, SUV and a HYBRID.. But my gated community only allows me to show off one car-- so I got one that could be all of them...

If you can afford some of these models, I doubt the cost of gasoline is going to be a concern of yours

Not suprising. Since hybrids cost lots more. Luxury packages are de rigeur...
